[00:00:01] Have you ever wondered, why am I here?
[00:00:05] What am I doing on this earth? What's the purpose of this earth? Why, why, why are we all here? What is. Is there a purpose? Is there something that is beyond what it is that I can see with my eyes what happens after death?
[00:00:20] These are important questions.
[00:00:22] There's many important questions in life that we should be asking ourselves.
[00:00:29] My name is Dominic, and I would like to take you through this podcast of sharing the good news.
[00:00:37] And what I'd like to do is to begin to take a journey down the path that takes us back 2000 years ago, all the way back to the beginnings of the life of Christ. The message that he brought to the earth and what it is that we now have today, which is contained within the scriptures, the Holy Bible, all these questions of life that we have, what happens after death, even things currently, you know, how do I have peace?
[00:01:13] Why am I depressed?
[00:01:16] Why is my marriage struggling? Why can't I get my children in order?
[00:01:20] How do I learn how to love people?
[00:01:23] All of these things and really all the questions of life that are important that we need to know the answers to. God has given us these answers and they are contained within His Word. And what we would like to do is to go ahead and begin a journey. As we start to answer some of these questions, as we start to answer from the Word of God, why am I here? Why am I? What is my purpose?
[00:01:48] It's amazing the power that is found within the Word of God. It has changed my life. It has changed the lives of countless people.
[00:01:58] And if you devote yourself to the learning, the studying, the applying, the believing with all of your heart of the Word of God and the truth that is revealed to us within it, your life will never be the same.
[00:02:13] You, the quality of life that you live upon this earth will change forever in a good way.
[00:02:21] And love for you to be able to join us on this journey, to begin to learn about the message that Christ came from heaven down to this earth to bring to man. What did he tell us?
[00:02:37] What was so important that he found it necessary to bring Himself to come down to this earth to share these things and to make sure they've been. That they've been preserved for us here within His Word, the Holy Scriptures, all of these things are things that are, are exciting and they're necessary.
[00:03:01] And in this podcast, what we're going to do is we're going to. We're going to go in and we're going to begin to break these things down. What we're going to do is we're going to have some, some shorter clips that are going to be overviews, that might be five minutes, 15 minutes. And it's just going to give you a general understanding on a topic. And then we're going to have some that are going to be a deep dive and we're going to go further. It might be 30 minutes, might be an hour.
[00:03:26] And what we're going to do is we're going to begin to answer these questions not from my own reasonings and knowledge, my own opinions, but from the word of God.
[00:03:37] Because really that's the thing that we need to hold on to. That's our anchor. That is what we all need to have as our foundation, is what is contained in the word of God.
[00:03:52] So there's many questions that we should be asking ourselves.
[00:03:57] You ever wondered why are there so many different churches?
[00:04:00] I drive down the street, there's a multitude of churches on one street. Baptist, Catholic, Episcopalian, you know, non denominational, Lutheran, you know, you, the list goes on.
[00:04:13] Why do we have so many different churches? Are they all the same? Does it matter which one I belong to or if I belong to any of them? Can I, can I just sit at home and, you know, read my Bible and believe in God? Do I even need to read my Bible?
[00:04:27] You know that all of these things, there's answers, actual answers, not, not just opinions, but God has given us his mind on these things. He's told us how we should look at these things.
[00:04:39] And once you learn the truth that is contained within the scriptures, it is life changing. And that's what Christ said, that he came to this earth to bring life.
[00:04:49] He wanted us to live the best life possible, not only on this earth, but especially in the world to come.
[00:04:56] And so as we ponder the deeper things of life, it's important for us to come back.
[00:05:02] Because there's so much noise around us. There's so many things that are calling our attention and pulling us in so many different directions. Producing fear, producing anxiety and stress, or maybe lust and trying to get you to want things and desire things that aren't good for you. And in the midst of all of this noise and in the midst of all the things that are happening around us, we need to go back to the word of God. This is our anchor.
[00:05:32] This is a source of truth that has been proven, that has been established, that has been guiding the lives of true believers for thousands of years.
[00:05:44] And we need, we need the things that are contained in the scriptures. We need help every one of us Every one of us is weak. Every one of us has done things wrong. Every one of us has things that we feel guilty about.
[00:05:59] We, we need a savior and all of the things that we need.
[00:06:04] God has provided the help that we need. He's. He's given us the, the sources of, of life and of strength and of these things he has for us.
[00:06:16] And so stick around. And what we're going to do is we're going to go ahead together and take this journey in a very simple way, but in a way that is simple but profound. Because the truth that Christ brought, they're simple, but they're profound. They're life changing.
[00:06:33] And if you stick around and if you follow the things that Christ has brought to this earth and that are contained within the word of God, I guarantee that like, like my life has never been the same. Your life will never be the same.

Our goal is to, to help bring people into the church that Christ established. You know, Christ told us in Matthew 16, he said, upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
[00:07:34] And if Christ started a church, I'll tell you one thing, I want to be in it. I want to know what it is and I want to be safe from hell. And those are things that Christ has promised us. And so what we would like to do is not just have a podcast and not just have something that you just listen to and life goes on, but no, something that as you listen to it, that it, that it prompts you to reach out, to make a connection and ultimately to join the church that Christ established and to become a member of Christ Church, to be a Christian, a true believer, and then to be able to have the benefits that come as being somebody who is saved, somebody who is, is a part of the church that Christ established, to have the benefits that come not only internally, to have the benefit of forgiveness, of salvation, but also even the benefits of fellowship and community.
[00:08:32] And all of these things that we really so desperately need, all of us.
[00:08:37] God created us to be people who we need each other. We need help. We need stability.
[00:08:44] We need to have love. We need to learn how to love. And so stick around. And this is what we're going to do. We're going to go through these things. We're going to. We're going to bring you to the scriptures, begin to have some discussions about some of these very important things, and then ultimately, like I said, like, to connect love to love, to see you in person.
